Where am I headed?
What’s my goal?
What’s my priority?
Do I have a vision?
The verse that’s ringing in my super-charged ear, my heaven-turned ear, My spiritual ear is that thing Paul said … “I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me”. (PHILIPPIANS 3:12 NLT)
I”m saying, “I’m looking for an unbroken theme to be ringing and singing in me continually. I’m looking for my thoughts to be wrapped around wholeness 24 hours a day. I’m putting the Word before my eyes, in my ears, in my mouth, filling up my heart so I love wholly, forgive wholly, do whatever I do wholly. I’m cacooning myself in thoughts of whole and complete in Christ so limitations in my thinking are annihilated. How else will You be able to really love and give and work through me if I’m always broken? broken in my soul; broken in my health; broken in my finances; broken in my family; broken in my relationships? That’s what Jesus is all about … making things whole. I’m taking this. I have it. I thank You, and I WILL to forgive and love as You’ve forgiven and love me … so Mercifully. All in Jesus name.”
PHILIPPIANS 3:13-14 No … I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. NLT
