The most wonderful thing about “in-to-me-see”, intimacy with God, is that everywhere I go and in everything I do there is FREEDOM!
Freedom from religion, freedom from myself, freedom from other people’s mores … moral attitudes, freedom from my past, freedom from my future. Just FREE.
As I’m looking more and more into Him and who He really is, I begin to reflect Him, think like Him, be empowered by Him. The whole thing about an upfront, face to face with God is that, exponentially more than anyone else, His presence has THE power to change me … And Him! … I’ll take being more like Him any day! any hour! any minute! any time! any where!
2 CORINTHIANS 3:17-18 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. I’m saying, “I’m seekin’ to be looking into Your face more and more … the most precious face ever … Your face is in Your Word. Your Word is You. So I don’t come to Your Word as if it’s just another book. It’s alive. It’s You. You and Your Word are the same … You’re One. So as I’m reading, meditatin’, singing, talkin’ Your Word, I go to it as if Your Word is my closest, most intimate friend … because You are! Thank You for teaching me, training me, to hang with You all day … just a breathe away from my most intimate and dearest friend. I love You and I will to love and forgive others as You love and have forgiven me. All in Jesus name.”
